Seven Foundational Beliefs

God's Word | God the Father | God the Son | God the Holy Spirit | Faith | Baptism | The Lord's Supper

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:19-22)

The Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

God the Father (Genesis 1:1)
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

God the Son (Matthew 16:16)
Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

God the Holy Spirit (John 14:26)
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

Faith (Hebrews 11:6)
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Baptism (Matthew 28:19)
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

The Lord’s Supper (Mark 14:22-23)
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it.
